How do cosmetic pumps work?

To repair a cosmetic pump that has come off, you will need to follow these steps:
1. Collection tools: You will need a clean dry cloth and a pair of pliers.
2. Clean the pump: Clean the pump with a cloth, including the threads on the bottleneck.
3. Reconnect the pump: Align the threads on the bottleneck with the threads on the bottom of the pump. Use pliers to gently screw the pump onto the bottle, making sure the threads are aligned and engaged.

Regular hand sanitizers are usually thicker and don't lather well in a foam pump.
